At Cheeky Fish, we’re on a mission to serve up cheeky, tasty moments — and give the unsung heroes of the sea the spotlight they deserve.

It all began in 2025, but the idea had been bubbling for years. Our founder, a longtime seafood lover with a sharp eye and a stubborn streak, had grown frustrated watching a culinary delicacy go to waste.
“The amount of head going back into the ocean was staggering,” he said. “Cheeks — the most tender, flavorful part of the fish — were being discarded by the ton. I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were throwing away something truly special.”

For years, he debated starting something. It felt risky, even foolish. Who builds a business around fish cheeks? But the more he thought about it, the clearer it became: someone had to. So, Cheeky Fish was born.

Why the cheeks?

Because they’re delicious. Fish cheeks are rich, buttery, and full of character — a favorite among chefs and food lovers who know where to look. But they’re also overlooked, often tossed aside by an industry focused on fillets and fast margins.
We saw an opportunity to challenge that, to do things differently, and to bring something fresh (and a little cheeky) to the table.

We’re not a faceless seafood giant. We’re a small, scrappy team with big flavor dreams. We work with responsible suppliers, craft bold recipes, and obsess over quality — because we know the little things (like cheeks) can make the biggest impact.
